We are writing with an important update for customers who may have purchased the Kith Kids Kithmas Plaid Lounge Sets from us or received it as a gift.
Following guidance from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), we have initiated a voluntary recall of sets purchased between December 2025 and January 2026, which upon recent testing were found not to meet federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a serious risk of burn injuries to children. When Kith investigated this issue further, we learned that 100% cotton pajamas that have not been treated with a chemical flame-resistant substance, or are not tight fitting, will generally not meet the standards required for children’s sleepwear, which differ from the standards for adult sleepwear that allow adult sleepwear to be made with 100% cotton. While no incidents or injuries have been reported, we are conducting this recall out of an abundance of caution to ensure complete peace of mind and comply with federal standards.
If you purchased the Kith Kids Kithmas Plaid Pajama Lounge Sets between December 2025 and January 2026, we kindly ask that you discontinue use of the garments immediately. If you would like to receive a full refund please email [email protected] or complete this form. Include your name, mailing address, phone number, the name of the recalled garment for which you are requesting a refund, the location of purchase, and a photo of your purchased set that adheres to the below disposal guidance:
For the pajama bottoms: please cut both pant legs vertically from waist band to ankle cuff
For the pajama tops: please cut large holes on either side of the button placket
